  • 80+ checks

  • Core Web Vitals
  • AI readiness

What does this analysis check?

80+ checks across eight categories in a single scan. Each category gets its own score; crawling and indexing carries the most weight.

Crawling & indexing

Status code, noindex, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical, redirect chain, HTTPS redirect and soft 404: can Google crawl and index your page?

Content & meta tags

Title and description length, H1–title match, word count, heading order, image alt texts, Open Graph and favicon.

Speed & Core Web Vitals

Server response, compression, render-delaying files, HTML and image weight, HTTP/2; Google’s real-user data and lab measurement.

AI readiness (GEO)

Is the content in the raw HTML, are ChatGPT and Perplexity bots allowed, llms.txt, Q&A structure and E-E-A-T signals.

Security

Certificate and expiry, TLS, HSTS, security headers grade, cookie flags, mixed content, SPF and DMARC.

Structured data

JSON-LD blocks, required fields of schema types, organization details and social profiles (sameAs).

Links

Broken and redirecting links, internal link count, anchor texts, nofollow and safe new-tab links.

Mobile & language

Viewport and zoom, html lang, character encoding and hreflang consistency.

How to do an SEO analysis, step by step

  1. Check access first

If Google can’t reach the page, everything else is wasted. A robots.txt block, a forgotten noindex or a long redirect chain are the first issues to fix.

  2. Write the title for the search

Titles are truncated by pixel width, so keep the search term near the start. The H1 should cover the same topic, and the meta description should invite clicks.

  3. Judge speed by real-user data

Google looks at real visitors’ experience for rankings: stay below the thresholds of 2.5 seconds for LCP, 200 milliseconds for INP and 0.1 for CLS.

  4. Verify your identity and structured data

Organization schema, social profiles (sameAs), and author and date information help Google and AI assistants recognize your brand.

  5. Prioritize, fix, re-analyze

Start with the priority issues at the top of the report; once you’ve fixed them, re-analyze and see the score change in your own browser.

How should you read your SEO score?

The score is out of 100: 80 and above is good, 50–79 average, below 50 poor. Each check is rated passed, warning or issue and weighted by importance. A high score shows that your technical foundation is solid; rankings, however, are decided by how well your content answers the search, your backlinks and your competitors.

What is an SEO analysis?

An SEO analysis is a structured audit of all the signals that affect whether a page appears on Google and in AI assistants’ answers: can the page be crawled, are the content and meta tags right, is the site fast and secure, is structured data in place?

The analysis first shows issues that block indexing, then those that cost you clicks, and finally the fine-tuning. Next to each check you’ll find how to fix it and the related free tool for a closer look.

  • Crawling & indexing: status code, noindex, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical, redirects, soft 404
  • Content & meta: title, meta description, H1, word count, heading structure, alt texts, Open Graph
  • Speed: server response, compression, render-blocking files, HTML and page weight, HTTP/2 and Core Web Vitals
  • Security: HTTPS, certificate, HSTS, security headers, cookies, SPF and DMARC
  • Structured data: JSON-LD types, required fields, organization details
  • AI readiness: content in raw HTML, AI bot access, llms.txt, Q&A structure and E-E-A-T

Frequently asked questions

Is the SEO analysis free?
Yes. You can analyze any page without signing up; short-term usage limits apply to prevent abuse.
How is the SEO score calculated?
Each check is marked as passed, warning or issue and weighted by importance. The eight category scores are calculated with these weights, and the overall score by the importance of each category; crawling and indexing carries the most weight.
What should my SEO score be?
80 and above is considered good, 50–79 average and below 50 poor. A score of 100 doesn’t guarantee the top spot; it shows that your technical foundation is solid. Rankings are decided by how well your content answers the search, your backlinks and your competitors.
Where does the Core Web Vitals data come from?
It comes from Google PageSpeed Insights: real-user data from the last 28 days plus a one-off lab measurement. Because this measurement is slow, it’s added to your report in the background.
Can I run an SEO analysis on competitor sites?
Yes. You can analyze any public page. To see several competitors side by side, use the competitor comparison tool.
Is my analysis result stored?
Results are cached briefly; your last score is stored only in your own browser and shows the change at your next analysis. To track your site regularly, you can create a free account.
How often should I analyze my site?
After every major change, and at least once a month. With an AutoAiSeo account, your site is crawled automatically every week and you’re notified of new issues.
