Website traffic estimate

Measure the visibility on Google of your own site or a competitor’s: how many keywords it ranks for, how many of them are in the top 10 and which ones bring the most traffic.

How is the estimate made?

This is an estimate; for your actual visitor numbers, check your Google Search Console and Analytics data.

  • The ranking keywords and their positions come from a database compiled from Google search results
  • Estimated traffic is each keyword’s search volume multiplied by the average click-through rate at its position
  • Traffic value is the estimated monthly amount you would pay to get these visits with ads
  • The result for the same site is stored for one week

Frequently asked questions

Are these numbers actual visitor counts?
No, it’s an estimate. It only calculates organic traffic from Google based on keyword volume and position; it doesn’t include direct, social media or ad traffic.
Can I analyze my competitors too?
Yes, you can analyze any public domain. A competitor’s top traffic-driving keywords are a good starting point for content ideas.
Why is there no data for my new site?
The database is built from the searches sites rank for. Keywords and traffic may not appear for new sites or sites that don’t rank yet.
